Eric Newkirk

Eric Newkirk wasn't handed his strength—he was forged into it.

For 27 years, he's planted and led churches in Northern Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina, learning that real faith isn't built in comfort but in the fire. He's spent long nights in hospital rooms with his special-needs daughter, built churches from nothing but calling and grit, and fought the daily battle of being both a present father and a faithful pastor. God used all of this to mature him.

A Liberty University–trained pastor and author of Stop the Hustle and Start the Wonder, Eric writes from the scars, not the sidelines.

Married to Laura since 1999, Eric is a father of four. His sons are stepping into manhood with strength and purpose: one is an executive leader with an MBA, and the other is a rising force among his peers. Their bond with their father is deep, intentional, and thriving.

That bond, and the battle to protect it, gave birth to Raising Kings. Eric believes every father is a blacksmith, and every son is worth the investment required to forge him. His mission is simple: call fathers out of passivity and into the fight, so the next generation of men stands firm in a world at war.
